Exercise: Replicating Website

Exercise

This exercise requires us to search for a website that we want to replicate and the lecturer made it clear to make sure we look for a website that does not contain a lot of videos because it will be a hassle to replicate.

Website 1: Nike

I started off with one of the easiest websites to replicate because it contains more images than the texts.

Process Work

I placed the image in Adobe Illustrator and set it as a template 

Made some boxes that acts as some sort of structure to keep it neat and organized

I went on a look for some stock images and stumbled across a website name Pexels (based on the lecturer's suggestion.

After downloading some images i imported them into the artboard and place them accordingly

For the text fonts i use Atami, Signatural (Regular), Alphakind, Bahnschrift.

Website 2: Apple

For my next website of choice i picked apple website because of it's simplicity and tidiness

Process Work

Following the same steps i did for the previous website

First i made the text template to make my process a bit easier to do.

After going to Pexels to look for some images that i can use, i import them into the template.

I use the same font as the previous website.
